NUNKTHUL was initially created in 1996 by Lord Tenebro Maleficium (leader of ritual darkwave act MANTAR). There is not much
more to say about the genesis of the band.
NUNKTHUL released its first demo “Rylkien nar Enstumet” in 2000 and then set to work on its first album, "Nightshade dominion". This album was recorded in 2001-2004 but was never released.
It will finally be released late 2022.
